आईपीएल 2020 के 21 में मुंबई इंडियंस और राजस्थान रॉयल्स आपने सामने है. इस मैच में दोनों टीमों के बीच काटें की टक्कर देखने को मी रही है. मैच का टॉस मुंबई इंडियंस के कप्तान रोहित शर्मा जीता और पहले बल्लेबाजी करने का फैसला किया. पहले बल्लेबाजी करते हुए मुंबई इंडियंस की टीम ने 193 रनों का स्कोर खड़ा किया.
इस मैच में राजस्थान रॉयल्स ने 4 तेज गेंदबाजों को टीम में शामिल किया, हालाँकि इन तेज गेंदबाजों में एक युवा गेंदबाज भी है, जिसने अपनी रफ़्तार और सधी हुई गेंदबाजी से सभी का दिल जीत लिया.

दरअसल उत्तर प्रदेश के युवा तेज गेंदबाज कार्तिक त्यागी का यह आईपीएल में पहला मुकाबला था और पहले ही मुकाबले में इस गेंदबाज ने अपनी काबिलियत का लोहा मनवाया. कार्तिक त्यागी जब अपने स्पेल का पहला ओवर करने आये तब क्रीज पर दो धुरंधर बल्लेबाज रोहित शर्मा और क्विंटन डी कॉक क्रीज पर थे.
रोहित शर्मा ने उनके पहले ओवर में छक्का भी जड़ा था, लेकिन इसके बावजूद इस युवा गेंदबाज का हौसला देखने लायक था. छक्का खाने के बाद पांचवीं ही गेंद पर एक तेज बाउंसर से खतरनाक फॉर्म में दिख रहे क्विंटन डी कॉक को पवेलियन का रास्ता दिखाया.
कार्तिक ने अपने कोटे के 4 ओवर में मात्र 36 रन दिया और एक बहुमूल्य विकेट प्राप्त किया. उनकी इसी शानदार गेंदबाजी के कारण सोशल मीडिया पर उनकी जमकर तारीफ हुई.
