आज का दूसरा मैच दिल्ली और बैंगलोर के बीच बैंगलोर के घरेलू मैदान पर खेला गया, टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी का फैसला किया था,लेकिन वाटसन के इस फैसले को बड़ा झटका तब लगा, जब उनके शुरुआती बल्लेबाज जल्दी पवेलियन लौट गये, वाटसन के 24 और केदार जाधव के 69 रनों के अलावा कोई भी बल्लेबाज 20 से अधिक रन नहीं बना सके, जिसके वजह से बैंगलोर की पारी निर्धारित 20 ओवर में सिर्फ 157 रन ही बना सकी और इसके लिए उन्हें अपने 8 विकेट गंवाना पड़ा. लक्ष्य का पीछा करने उतरी दिल्ली की भी बल्लेबाजी काफी खराब रही, लेकिन अंत में ऋषभ पन्त ने अकेले के दम पर यह मैच जीताने की कोशिस किया, लेकिन 19.1 ओवर में वो नेगी द्वारा बोल्ड आउट हुए और इसी के साथ दिल्ली की उम्मीदों पर पानी फिर गया, नेगी ने इस ओवर में 2 बल्लेबाजो को पवेलियन भेजा और मैच 15 रनों से जीता.
ऋषभ पन्त के पिता जी का बुधवार को ही निधन हुआ था, जिसके बाद इस युवा खिलाड़ी ने इस दुःखद घटना के 2 दिन बाद ही दिल्ली के लिए मैदान पर बल्लेबाजी करने उतरा और दिल्ली को जीत दिलाने के लिए जी जान लगा दिया.
